Timeline

Childhood
May 7th, 1988 – Scott is born.

1988-1997 – Scott shows a tremendous interest in people and how people interact with one another. Like any child would, Scott immediately begins to try and understand his surroundings and takes an intense interest in music and art. At ages 8 to 12 – his favorite bands are Metallica and Megadeth.

Beginning Creativity & Teen Years
1998 – Scott writes his first chapter stories, A Hidden Legacy and Jade’s Return. Starts writing the early notes for Island of Yellow. Scott is tested for the gifted & talented program at his elementary school but fails the entry test. His parents get a divorce.

1999 – Scott’s future colleague Stephen Wolfe starts making movies and forms Barton Ct. Productions. Scott writes the first screenplay for The Midnight Kids.

2000 – Goes out with girlfriend #1 – Jessica Corey.

2001 – Scott begins writing his first book, The Island of Yellow. After 2 years, Scott breaks up with Jessica.

December 2002 – Scott joins Barton Ct. Productions to work on short film Howloween 4:Evolution.

Building Foundations for Companies and Income
2004 – Scott helps to form the Barton Ct. Board. The Oscar Night 2004 screening party is held at Charles Green’s house for Barton Ct. Productions. After rewriting the original screenplay, Scott films The Midnight Kids in the summer. Scott goes out with girlfriend #2 – Lily Segovia.

2005 – Scott, with the rest of Barton Ct. releases A Good Thing, Kite Show, Daydreams, Mix It Up Documentary, and the Eldon Highlights. Lily breaks up with Scott, Scott goes out with two girls from Pearland: Emily Weaver and Misty Cook. Emily and Scott schedule a break up date from three months of the day they begin going out. Misty breaks up with Scott shortly after a trip to Florida for Thanksgiving.

March 2006 – Scott meets girlfriend Kimberly Scott.

April 2006 – After first suggesting an on-demand product line to his production company, the company rejects the idea and Scott forms his apparel brand, Dirty Mechanism himself.

Attempts at Independence
May 2006 Barton Ct. Productions is incorporated into Barton Ct. Productions Inc. Barton Ct. Collections, Vol. 1 DVD is later released as the first commercial release from the new production corporation. Scott begins going out with Kimberly.

November 2006 – What will later become the Scott Free Thinking personal development blog is launched, The Island of Yellow is self-published and made for sale in the Dirty Mechanism online store. Scott has begun attending college for a psychology major.

Mid-December 2006 thru March 2007 – Scott moves in with Kimberly, attempts to launch his new businesses to a sustainable level against his parents’ wishes. After having his college funding and car pulled from him, Scott tries his hand as an associate for Pre-Paid Legal Inc. and fails. Moves back to his mother’s house.

April 2007 – Scott Free Thinking is launched, Dirty Mechanism has now generated thousands of dollars in total revenues, but small profits.

October 2007 – Scott’s father tells him of his second divorce.

December 2007-January 2008 – Scott’s father tells him of yet another marriage in the works. Scott’s father remarries to his now 3rd wife, Rashida.

March to April 2008 – Scott’s girlfriend Kimberly moves to Austin, Texas to pursue her future career in culinary school. Scott and Kim break up. Scott begins going out with long time friend Dana officially on April 20th.

May 31st, 2008 – Producer for the first feature film from Barton Ct. Productions Inc., Scott oversees the private screening premiere of I’m Not Gonna Lie, a documentary, to a private audience.

June 25th, 2008 & July 29th, 2008 – Barton Ct. Productions Inc. launches the Barton Ct. Supporter Program, a digital content & company benefit membership service. On July 29th, the affiliate program is launched, allowing others to sell the membership service and get a portion of the revenue. The affiliate program quickly fails. As a result of the affiliate program being the primary marketing method for the membership service, the Supporter Program becomes unsustainable and has to be shut down October 31st, 2008.

September 20th, 2008 – Scott and Stephen Wolfe authorize the creation of 100,000 total shares for Barton Ct. Productions and begin seeking investors, beginning the process of selling off 10,000 of those shares at a goal price of $25 per share.

Battles Against the Self

January-March 2009 – Unlike any other period prior to 2009, Scott makes an intention to start a new hard rock band entitled Sobrakay. It comes to an almost immediate halt as Scott’s personal life goes sour and his friendship with bandmate Chris Worrell is harshly damaged. Sobrakay is cancelled and no definitive plans are announced for Scott’s solo musical project, Eternal Exhaust, other than that Eternal Exhaust music will continue. Barton Ct. Productions Inc. begins to wrap up its final days of filming for its new comedy series, Barton Police. Dirty Mechanism Apparel attempts to regain its sales and go above and beyond previous levels while simultaneously fighting an economic recession. Scott has gotten over a case of asthma that had immediately followed the onset of Hurricane Ike.

April 2009 – Scott has begun working on his most important book, previously titled Versatile Destiny, and plans to publish it after graduating with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Houston. At the end of this semester, Scott is now halfway through achieving his four year degree goal.

July 2009 – After a long summer spent socializing, partying, and finishing the last of production on episode 1 of Barton Police, Scott begins a long road of promotion for the new online comedy series.

August 2010 – Scott Lee finally nears the completion of Barton Police on DVD and its total nine episodes.
